Acta materialia 投稿第25天了，距离拒稿的日期越来越近了。。。
第一次投Acta materialia，知道很难，但是心里仍然忐忑不安，今天是投出去的第25天了，看虫友一般都是投出去1个月左右有结果，所以我感觉自己稿子的死期就快到了，求安慰。。。

Acta Materialia provides a forum for publishing full-length, original papers and commissioned overviews that advance the in-depth understanding of the relationship between the processing, the structure and the properties of inorganic materials. 公元三十年左右罗马各地的总督每年都要向罗马皇帝汇报政绩，写成年度报告，称为acta。
刊名中常见的有:Acta(学报)、Journals(杂志)、annales(纪事)、Bulletin(通报)、Transactions(汇刊)、Preceedings(会刊)、Reiew(评论)
Sinica 即中国，比如：

Sinica 有没有歧视中国人的意思啊？ 实际上sinica是非常早期的拉丁文对中国的称呼。接近日文「支那」的训令式罗马注音。
顺便灌个水，关于支那的一些知识。各位虫友别夸也别拍砖，纯粹是工作累了顺手在网上学了点知识。
最早的“支那“据说是来自于梵文中的Shina。词源于“秦”的变音。欧州语言中的“china","cina"都是缘于梵文的"shina"音，也就是秦的变音。英语因为历史音变的缘故，才使得原来发音"吃那”变成“拆那”，造成特殊读法。
“支那”词带有岐视性语气是缘于中华民国时代。那时候中华民国政府统一了南边，但是北方仍然是军阀割据，而清朝也已经跨台。当时的日本政府不愿意承认中华民国，也无法用中国来代替某个具体政府，遂采用了日本民间的“支那”叫法。在整个抗日战争中，一直用“支那”来称呼，以示对“国民政府”的不承认。此外，日本的国家自卑心理也使得其有意或者无意不称呼“中国”，是因为这个词明示着“这里是中央之国”而与之对应的则是他们的”东夷“称呼。（插一句，没文化很可怕，没文化还装做很有文化更可怕，总是把骨子里头的自卑承载于对某些具体物件的叛逆，如日本，如韩国）
实际上，从甲午战争开始，因为侵略关系带来的敌我意识，支那这个词才带有蔑视的语境。二战战败后，国民政府要求日本停用这个词。之后，支那这个词才从日本的官方消失。 谢谢分享，学习了:tiger05:ACTA MATERIALIA_百度文库
