Pros: It doesn't look like Win 8.1 Pro, Large Task-bar menu items, 64 bit, All drivers found right out of box.
Doesn't run as well as Vista Ultimate 64 bit.Experiencing program hangs etc.

Working perfectly, working fast, never an issue.
Cons: No cons
Other Thoughts: Bought Win-7 to avoid Win-8.
Will consider Win-10 (free upgrade) before the exchange offer expires.
I hate not having a disk to restore a system.

Cons: Too many pop ups still popping up even after setting the pop up blocker.
Other Thoughts: Was a huuge fan of Xp but Win7 is a good replacemement

Pros: Everything that Enterprise has w/o buying at least 1000 licenses. 3 day delivery w/ eggsaver from CA to CO.
Cons: No MS tech support but I don't envision ever needing/using it so, not really a con.

Better than Windows 8

Pros: Switched from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Ultimate, after working with clients on Windows 8.To me Windows 7 is much faster than XP Pro in speed, and much faster than Windows 8 in use of the software.
Cons: Need more 64 bit programs, but still fast using 32 or 64 bit programs.
Other Thoughts: Note to Microsoft, STOP just thinking about how to force profits by creating software updates that are not needed. Focus on the users needs first, profit will follow.

Pros: everything! has areo (transparency), bitlocker ETC just like
vista but greater & with out the problems and headaches that vista had...excessively and completely epically stable. and i can even do a complete pc back up so if something happens i can simply do a complete pc restore and BAM! all my programs,drivers ETC come back as if nothing happened at all..microsoft really out did them selves with windows 7 ultimate!!
Cons: absolutely none
Other Thoughts: bought this to get rid of that windows 8.0 & i am soooooo glad i did. now i have my start menu set the way i like it, all my programs work flawlessly, so far i have had NOT one problem with it so far, Microsoft should of left windows looking and feeling more like windows 7...

MY KEY DOESNT WORK

Pros: It is in the case with disk and key.
Cons: The key itself would not activate windows.... i am only able to use the trial until it roots and asks me to activate....
if you guys would please get back to me.... i tried to email customer service yesterday and it was down.If new egg could beck to me on this IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. thanks.
Other Thoughts: I tried the Cd key several times checked caps lock, yaddah yaddah, just like your computer teacher would tell u. the key provided with the copy of windows simply does not work..... disappointed.

Pros: -Decent OS-Better than Windows 8
Cons: -Extremely overpriced and unaffordable-Not worth the money
Other Thoughts: This OS is not at all worth the huge amount of money you're going to be forking out. Microsoft has always been greedy like that. And they wonder why people favor free alternatives. If this was maybe $60 or maybe even $80, I can see way more people accepting this OS and actually buying it. Otherwise, the common american does not have the extra change to put up with a price like this, JUST FOR AN OPERATING SYSTEM.

Windows XP的灭亡却带动了Windows 7的火爆升级，北京时间日消息，微软最新的PC操作系统Windows 8.1从去年10月份发布到现在，已经问世了六个多月时间。Windows 8.1依靠着蚕食Windows 8的市场份额，其市场份额一直在稳步增长，前后两者加起来的份额已有12.24％，而Windows XP离开我们快一个月了，却仍有26.29%的市场份额。
据市场研究机构Net Applications发布的全球操作系统市场份额的最新数据显示，在2014年4月，对于Windows 8和Windows 8.1这两个系统来说，较上月而言有不小的变化，两者合二为一来看的话，市场份额增加了0.94个百分点（从11.30%增长到12.24%）。分开来说，Windows 8这个月下降了0.05个百分点（从6.41%跌至6.36%），而Windows 8.1则获得了0.99个百分点（从4.89%增长到5.88%）。另外，Windows 8的市场份额在去年8月份获得了最大的增长（2.01个百分点），而在去年11月份则是最大的跌幅（0.87个百分点）。
