Available on select cars, CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in the car. CarPlay takes the things you want to do with your iPhone while driving and puts them right on your car’s built-in display. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music, all in a way that allows you to stay focused on the road. Just plug in your iPhone and go.
CarPlay features Siri voice control and is specially designed for driving scenarios. CarPlay also works with your car’s controls — knobs, buttons, or touchscreen. And the apps themselves have been reimagined for the car, so you can use them while your eyes and hands stay where they belong.
To activate Siri voice control, just press and hold the voice control button on the steering wheel.
If your CarPlay-equipped vehicle has a touchscreen, you can use it to control CarPlay.
CarPlay also works with the knobs, dials, or buttons in the car. If it controls your screen, it controls CarPlay.
The power and simplicity of Apple Maps comes to your dashboard — complete with turn-by-turn directions, traffic conditions, and estimated travel time. CarPlay can also predict where you most likely want to go using addresses from your email, texts, contacts, and calendars.
Make calls, return missed calls, and listen to voicemail. Siri can help you do all of these things. All you have to do is ask.
Siri can send, read, and reply to your text messages for you, so you never have to look at your iPhone while driving. CarPlay plays audio messages too, so you can hear from people in their own voices.
Access all your artists, songs, playlists, and your Apple Music membership using your car’s built-in controls. Or just tell Siri what you’d like to hear. CarPlay also supports additional audio apps that you’ve downloaded to
your iPhone for enjoying podcasts, music, and radio.
CarPlay supports other apps on your iPhone — like Audiobooks, Podcasts, and iHeartRadio. Apps developed by car manufacturers are also supported, so you can control more of your car’s features without ever leaving CarPlay.1

　　凤凰科技讯 北京时间12月12日消息，据科技博客AppleInsider报道，奔驰周五证实，计划将苹果车载系统CarPlay引入部分2016款中高端车型中。
　　根据奔驰发给经销商的内部备忘录，苹果CarPlay将登陆12月1日后生产的选定CLA、CLS、GLA、GLE、E级和B级车型。
　　奔驰称，B级、CLA或GLA车型买家可以单独购买CarPlay，售价为350美元，或者购买包含CarPlay的新增强多媒体套装。对于E级、CLS或GLE车型的买家来说，他们可能最多支付4080美元购买车载套装，包括CarPlay和奔驰自主影音控制系统COMAND。
　　奔驰CLS550、CLS63 S、GLE 400、GLE450、GLE63以及GLE63 S车型将把CarPlay作为标配提供给买家。
　　奔驰车型最初将不支持无线CarPlay，消费者需要将他们的iPhone插到一个在中控台上专门设计的插座中。奔驰还提醒经销商，CarPlay将无法与COMAND导航同时使用。例如，消费者必须被迫在流媒体音乐服务Spotify和COMAND之间切换。
