其实和dynagen原理是差不多的，我们都知道用dynagen做实验为一个大缺点就是”telnet”太麻烦。
用直接telnet的话，打开的窗口太多，容易乱；用secureCRT配置也不是很简单。
而用GNS3,就不用说了，性能不是很理想。
gdynagen完全解决了这个问题！他把所有的工作都在一个界面里完成，包括telnet出现的窗口也

Hi all,I've already installed GNS3 and I'm trying to add my first cisco IOS.I went in edit&IOS images and hypervisors, i selected my IOS and when I clicked on &Auto calculation& button, for the field &IDLE PC&, i received this error message: &Dynamips path doesn't exist or cannot detect its version, please check Dynamips settings&.So, what can I do?....I really don't know, I don't understand the meaning of the messages, because I've installed all the packges included in the installation of GNS3 and I don't find any related post on forums.Can someone help me?Thank you, bye

Go to GNS3 Preferences & Dynamips section.
Under the [Dynamips] tab, check your Executable path to Dynamips:ImportantYou must also click the Test Settings button - just like you were instructed to do so during the Install process.

本人是win7系统，上面选择文件的时候是dynamips-wxp.exe& &貌似是一个xp下的运行文件，可能才会不行。我换了个版本，现在可以了...............
