新剧取名为《Solid State Society》的用意是?在谈到名字《Solid State Society》时,负责脚本的菅正太郎说,灵感来源于YMO的一首名叫《Solid State Survivor》(笔者注:YMO全称“YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA”,是日本一支非常有名的乐队,成员有细野晴臣、高桥幸宏和坂本龙一,一度解散各自活动,目前再次集结中),觉得新作的名称缩写用“3S”会非常不错,把最后一词“Survivor”换掉即可.不过为了接近剧情的主旨,在字典里翻了半天才艰难的决定用“Society”这个词,所以翻译起来非常拗口.
