8-3(媒体广告)请问有人可以帮我修改一下这篇作文吗?Some people think advertising tells too much information about snacks and toys to children and should be banned.To what extent do you agree?Recently,many people argue that adverting tells too much information about snacks and toys to children,so it ought to be banned.However,not everyone is happy therefore there has arises a fierce argument over whether advertising should be banned.Before giving my view,I think it is important to look at the both sides of the argument.Advertising has focused on snacks and toys,which have produced negative effects on children.To begin with,most of snacks and toys are physically damaging.A recent study conducted by researchers at Health Department reveals that snacks are high in fat and calorie which results a host of health conditions such as obesity,coronary heart disease and hypertension.Numerous toys are also proved to be unhealthy because millions of toys contain poisonous amount of lead in their surface painting.Furthermore,eating snacks and playing toys are regarded as luxurious hobbies to most of the families.It is reported one child has to spend 1000 yuan on snacks and toys annually.In addition,snacks and toys are so alluring,that quite a few children are obsessed with them.As a result,they can’t devote enough time and energy to their study.Many people,however,argue that it is wrong to forbid advertising.In the first place,advertisements offer useful information to the public.Before we decide what to buy,we often resort to advertising.Advertising is so influential and informative that we can’t afford to ban it.In the second place,some of the advertisements recently have been marketing healthy snacks and toys,such as apple salads and qualified toys.In this matter,children can enjoy the benefits of the advertisements.Advertising has not only played an important role to children but also been profitable to adults.In a nutshell,we can see there is actually some truth in both views.Personally,I side with the latter one.Advertising is so pervasive and persuasive in our daily life,that we can’t live with out advertisements.
