Protools支持三种格式的插件 RTAS TDM AAX
RTAS：是Protools专用的插件格式
TDM：是Protools HD系统中专用的双精度的RTAS插件格式（提供更加精确的音频算法，这是和RTAS的唯一区别）
那么现在问题来了，AAX插件格式是啥？为什么PT12不能使用RTAS和TDM插件只能使用AAX格式的插件了？
麻烦知道的朋友给说说啊？

也就是说：AAX格式的插件是从Protools 11才开始有的，而且从11开始只支持AAX格式的插件，原先的RTAS和TDM格式不再支持 ，11之前只支持 RTAS和TDM两种格式是这个意思吗？

我来补充一些：
从PT10开始就支持AAX格式的插件，也就是说PTHD10是全兼容楼主说的三个格式，但从PT11开始全面进入64bit的领域，因此AAX格式的插件也演变成纯64bit的AAX格式。PT11开始正式淘汰RTAS和TDM。
然后并不是想象的不分Native和HD了。如果有HDX卡，使用PT HD11或者HD12软件，将兼容两种AAX格式，可以在HDX卡的DSP芯片上运算的效果器叫AAX DSP格式，全靠CPU运算的叫AAX Native格式，这里需要说明的是UAD插件特例，虽然使用的是64位AAX Native格式封装，但靠的是UAD的DSP运算。
最后再补充一点就是PT HD10配合HDX卡依然也是支持AAX DSP和AAX Native，但必须插件厂家提供32bit的AAX格式才可以使用。
总结，AAX总共分为四个模式，分别是32bit的AAX DSP和AAX Native 以及64bit的AAX DSP和AAX Native。其中32bit的属于过渡阶段，能支持的插件数量和种类都非常稀少。
目前 主流格式是64bit的AAX，得到了绝大部分厂家的支持，并且在这种格式下插件表现的素质是最好的。

这个方法放在论坛里，以免日后又出现这种情况忘了怎么操作可以回来看看！！
今天下午本来打算Cubase的工程编完曲后就用Pro Tools录歌，结果打开出现了从未见过的错误（AEE-6117），然后跑去网上搜索，无奈本人英语能力差，国外的解决方法又看不太懂，自己通过一次又一次的重启，折腾半天终于给解决了！关闭Cubase后立即打开Pro Tools 12(声卡还在Cubase里缓冲)造成Pro Tools 12无法读取声卡，变成读取Cubase的Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver虚拟声卡，然后在Pro Tools无法播放音频，切回声卡出现the asio sample rate is not supported by one of the USB interfaces!这样的错误提示，紧接着就出现了AEE-6117提示框。
解决方法：
安装ASIO4ALL虚拟声卡，在Pro Tools12里将虚拟声卡缓冲调到256，然后再调会声卡，这时声卡就可以读取了，接着删掉ASIO4ALL（如果保留在里面重新去切换ASIO4ALL又会出现新的错误问题），然后重启Pro Tools12就可以正常工作了。

我也出现这个问题搞了半天，试了上面方法的问题都不行。我的症状是ASIO4ALL都不能识别，右下角不能加载ASIO4ALL出来。按n的也不行双击pt直接默认中文输入法，用鼠标点输入法也会卡住不能换成英文。等换过来pt已经打开了。
我的解决方法很简单，问题就是处在没有关闭声卡。电脑重启了好几遍也没有用的。
1.安装好ASIO4ALL
2.关机或者重启。关闭声卡【断电关闭，不是待机。】
3.开机，应该是这样的电脑检测不到声卡。没有硬件。
这时可以按楼主的步打开pt骤选择声卡驱动了。选好关闭pt 然后在打开声卡。
问题解决！

另外假如你在安装Pro Tools时没有关闭UAC、防火墙和杀毒软件和后台程序的话，也请重新安装，安装时要以管理员身份应该可以的，重新安装M-Audio。或者可以试一下ASIO4ALL驱动（官网论坛说的）。ASIO4ALL驱动官网有免费下载的，前面加3W，后面加点com即可
