　　夏天女士出门往往都打着遮阳伞。包括打遮阳伞者在内，一般认为主要是怕把晒黑。殊不知打起遮阳伞除可对皮肤起到保护作用，更重要的是还会对预防眼睛被紫外线伤害起到事半功倍作用。其中极为重要的是预防和推迟老年白内障的发生。但男士们却很少在外出时举着遮阳伞，恐怕别人说想保持“小白脸”。其实这是一大，男士打遮阳伞不是为了怕皮肤晒黑，更重要是预防紫外线对眼睛的损伤，因此应大大方方在夏秋季把遮阳伞打起来。推荐阅读：　　　有人说，男士有一副太阳镜足以保护紫外线对眼睛的伤害，当然这种可能是存在的，但如果太阳镜质量欠佳，使用不当，其作用微乎其微甚至反而会产生伤害。太阳镜可以预防紫外线的直接照射，但间接紫外线照射(如混凝土建筑、柏油马路、海岸沙滩、海水)可以从太阳镜的侧面或下面射入眼球，可自觉和不自觉地受到紫外线伤害，日久天长就可能成为白内障等眼病发生的诱发因素。　　一般情况下，好的太阳镜可阻挡80%的紫外线(千万不要买小摊床的太阳镜)，根据太阳镜镜片质量和颜色不同，最高紫外线可穿透32%左右(假货不在此限)。另外，人们误认为太阳镜颜色越深越好，恰恰相反，过深色的太阳镜戴上后，由于光线暗，瞳孔逐渐放大，从而减少眼球对紫外线的自身防御能力；同时，过深颜色的镜片可反射从后面、侧面来的紫外线进入眼球，加上瞳孔放大，进入眼球的紫外线必然有所增加。因此，夏秋季防紫外线对眼球伤害，以遮阳伞最好。&
