1 vSphere Web Client 的作用
她的作用,正常的情况下vsphere 部署完成之后，我们会在windows 系统上安装 vsphere client 管理程序，用于管理vsphere vCenter server 或者 ESX/ESXi,如下图

vsphere client 管理程序,需要安装在windows系统上,而非windows 平台如linux是没办法安装的,而vSphere Web Client 就是解决这个问题的,在非windows平台下使用任意浏览器就可以对vcenter 进行管理，拥有 vsphere client大部分功能，可以完成vpshere日常维护性的工作，如下图

//vSphere Web Client 管理界面，可以对主机、虚拟机、模板、存储及网络进行管理
2 安装 vSphere Web Client(server)
注意：我这里把vSphere Web Client 安装vCenter Server所在的服务器上，当然你也可以将她安装在其它windows 服务器上。
安装步骤就非常简单了，运行vcenter server安装程序，选中&VMware vSphere Web Client(Server)&，然后单击install按钮如下图
接下来就将运行vSphere Web Client安装程序之后一路next 即可，安装完成后如下图
3 配置 vSphere Web Client
注意:浏览器需要Adobe Flash Player 插件
成功安装后将会自动打开地址为的浏览器窗口,用于注册vcenter如下图
上图中我已经注册了一个vcenter,这里我演示如何注册vcenter 如下图
分别输入vcenter server的连接信息以及vSphere Web Client服务器的地址信息，然后单击Register即可,可以在vSphere Web Client上注册多个vCenter Server。
完成注册后如
4 使用 vSphere Web Client
我在ubuntu 上通过firefox浏览器访问时，只需要从服务器列表中选择某一个vCenter Server，然后输入vCenter Server 账户信息就可以连接到该vCenter Server了如下图

vCenter Server Appliance with the vPostgres embedded database might run out of disk space for the disk partition. This might be caused by large or dynamic inventory retention settings. In most situations, vPostgres disk space is filled by historical data kept for statistics, events, and tasks collected by vCenter Server.
