Backpacker Homestay
Our small, friendly and clean homestay is conveniently located and hosts up to six guests in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We have shared and private rooms, each coming with their own bathroom. All bedrooms have windows and comfy beds, so you can rest up before starting your day in the ever-exciting city of Shanghai.
Chill out in our homely living, wash of that travel dirt in our excellent showers and explore downtown Shanghai on foot or from various public transportation hubs within walking distance. Internet access is available in case you want to catch up with the folks back home.
Backpacker Homestay is located in Jing’an district, the most central and lively area of Shanghai: The famous Temple of the Jade Buddha is just across the street. You can have a bite at one of the many cosy restaurants just around the block. Various supermarkets, 24 hour convenience shops and a genuine Chinese market place can be found on the same block too. We’re within easy reach of theatres, the museum district and many major shopping areas.
Talk to our friendly staff-of-two if you have trouble finding your way around town, want to know where to get those designer shoes you want cheaply or need advice on further travelling. Or for just a nice chat, of course. We speak fluent English, French, Chinese and Dutch and pretty good German.
