&切换失败与移动健壮性优化
当安全上下文激活后,在很多场景下会发起连接重建立过程,包括:无线链路失败切换失败不可恢复错误重配置失败如果安全上下文未激活时发生如上所列事件,将直接回到状态。为了发起连接重建立,会启动定时器,并开始小区选择。找到一个合适的小区后,停止、启动,并发起基于竞争的随机接入,将连接重建立请求消息作为发送给。连接重建立请求消息中包含了发生如上失败事件的小区(physCellId)、该小区为分配的()、消息鉴权码(shortMAC-I)以及重建立原因。RRCConnectionReestablishmentRequest ::= SEQUENCE {

如果发起重建立的小区没有该的上下文,将拒绝重建立,将回到状态。
&在切换中,以下情况会导致切换失败,而触发连接重建立:切换(判决)过晚,会导致(在原小区);覆盖盲点,会导致(在原小区);切换(判决)过早,会导致(在目标小区);切换(判决)到错误的小区,会导致(在该错误的小区)。影响切换判决时间点的因素主要有:迟滞偏移Hysteresis,A3事件补偿a3-Offset,触发时间timeToTrigger,移动速度缩放因子timeToTrigger-SF。
移动健壮性优化,是特性的一部分,主要目的就是使网络能够发现上述问题,并通过网络间自动发起的参数优化来降低其发生的概率。切换过晚
切换过晚,会导致UE在原小区发生RLF,而在新的小区发起RRC连接重建立。对于这种场景,新小区所属的eNB可以通过RLF INDICATION消息通知原eNB切换失败事件的发生。在这个消息中,包含了发生RLF的小区的PCI(来源于UE)、新小区的CGI、UE在原小区的C-RNTI(来源于UE),以及原eNB的shortMAC-I(来源于UE)。short MAC-I的存在可以使原eNB可以验证该UE是否存在,这在邻区发生PCI冲突/混淆时可以发挥作用。
收到临基站发来的无线链路失败指示RLF INDICATION消息的另一种可能的原因是,存在覆盖盲点,如上图所示。为了与"切换过晚"进行区别,在RLF INDICATION消息中可能包含"UE RLF Report Container"IE。该IE的内容是新eNB通过空口"UEInformation"过程,从UE那里获取的发生RLF之前最后一次小区测量的结果。基于这个测量结果,原eNB可以判断出RLF是因为存在覆盖盲点还是因为切换过晚。

如果切换判决过早,UE可能会在目标小区发生RLF,然后会在原小区发起RRC连接重建立过程。如果此时原eNB已经释放了该UE的上下文(切换已经完成),那么此场景就和反方向上的"切换过晚"类似,这样,原小区会向目标小区发送一个RLF INDICATION消息。
目标小区如何识别这是切换过早还是切换过晚呢?通过定时器Tearly。当收到切换准备请求消息后,目标小区启动Tearly,如果在它超时之前,收到了来自同一个原小区发来的针对同一个UE的RLF INDICATION,就可以判断这是切换过早的场景。在这种情况下,目标小区会再发送一条HANDOVER REPORT消息给原小区,作为对RLF INDICATION消息的回应,该消息指明原小区发生了一次(指向本小区的)过早的切换。
切换到不合适的小区(wrong cell)
如下图所示,UE从小区A向小区B移动,经过有交叠覆盖的小区C,并且在某时刻C的信号最强。
在这种情况下,A可能会命令UE向C切换,但很快UE将会在C发生RLF,而在B发起RRC连接重建立。
网络如何发现这样的问题呢?首先B会向C发送RLF INDICATION,通过UE RLF Report Container指明原小区是A,此时可以想象C的Tearly尚未超时。于是C可以向A发送HANDOVER REPORT,指明切换到了错误的小区C。此外,即使B和C是同一个基站的小区,此流程也依旧可以执行。
当小区A收到一定数量的此类报告后,将会采取相应措施避免此问题再次发生。
切换到未准备的小区(unprepared cell)
由于未准备的小区没有UE上下文,切换一定会失败(原小区、目标小区均会超时),UE在新小区发起的RRC连接重建立也一定会被拒绝。
针对这种情况Rel9无法处理,Rel10有解决方案。TBD
